My Sheep
There are times when we can discern the voice of God speaking through the circumstances of life. I wanted to share with you how I came to paint "My Sheep" painting.
First, in May 2013, I've had an experience I will never forget! I was unemployed and soul searching when I was in Northern California. I went to explore near Point Reyes, CA. That day I was on a private road and these sheep came out of nowhere surrounded my car. Since the sheep were scattered on the road, the shepherds were trying to get them to the hillside. I was really caught up in the moment since I've never seen the sheep in person till that day. Then God spoke clearly. He said I am one of those lost sheep and He will provide every step of the way. Wow! I had the goose bumps. Also He said to paint this moment and use the scripture that would speak to my heart.
Second, "My Sheep" painting was protected from the pouring rain overnight when I left it outside. Next morning I went outside to check to see if it was ruin from the rain and "my Sheep" was completely dried even though other sketch papers and watercolor papers were soaked through. Only God can protect this painting and no one else. Praise the Lord! God is good all the time!
Don't miss His voice. He may be quietly trying to tell you something today!
